　　1.whatever是形容词,表示“不管怎样的,不论什么”,这本句中修饰名词短语muchwork,意思是“不管有多少工作”,另如：

　　Whateverbookyoumayread,readitcarefully.不论你读什么书,总要读得仔细.

　　Iknownothingwhateveraboutit.关于这件事我什么也不知道.

　　2.nomatter不能单独用作连词,必须和副词how、when、where、why或者代词what、who、which一起使用才能引导让步状语从句.如果把这个句子改为nomatterhowmuchyouhavetodo也是成立的.
