　　Inrecentyears,televisionhasbecomethemostpopularformofentertainment—almosteveryfamilyhasatelevisionnow.Televisionhasbroughtpeoplemuchpleasureandinformation.

　　Ontelevision,peoplecanwatchOlympicgames,theycanvisitwell-knownscenicspots,andtheycanalsoenjoyamoviewithacupofcoffeeintheirhands.FromTV,peopleareinformedaboutmanythingshappeningintheworld,andpeoplewholiveindifferentareascanalsowatchprogramsmadeinothercountriessoastounderstanddifferentcultures.

　　However,somepeopleargueagainstTV.TheythinkspendingtoomuchtimewatchingTVwillaffecthumanrelationship.SupposeawholefamilyweregluedtoseatstowatchprogramsonTVwhenevertheycan.TheywouldbesoaddictedtoTVthatitwouldbegintocontroltheirlives.Asaresult,theyWOUldneglectcommunicationwitheachother,sodaybyday,familiesandfriendswouldnotdiscussthingstogether,andagapbetweenthemwouldappear.

　　Inmyopinion,weshouldn'tdenytheadvantagesTVjustbecauseithassomedrawbacks.ThepointisthatTVitselfisneithergoodnorbad.Itsvaluetopeopleandsocietydependsonhowwelookatit.
