　　ofconcentrationsfrom16°Be–36°Beasperstandardconsistency.Thecompressiveandtransversestrengthsofcementmortarswereascertainedfromtestsoncubesofsize70⋅6mmandbarsof100×25×25mmsize,respectively.Thespecimenswerepreparedinmetalmouldsplacedonnonabsorbentplates.Themouldswerefilledwiththepasteandwereconsolidatedwithlightpressureonly.Thesurfacewasmadesmoothwithabladeofatrowel.Thesespecimenswereplacedat27±2°Candinanatmosphereof90%relativehumidityfor24h.Afterthis,thespecimenswereremovedfromthemouldsandwerekeptindesiccatorsat60–70%relativehumidity.Thespecimensweretestedattheageof7daysand28daysasperIS10132-1982.

　　AbrasionresistanceofconcreteunderphysicaleffectswasdeterminedasperIS:9284-1979.Thetestwasconductedon28-daycuredcubespecimensfromeachset.Pneumaticsandblastingcabinetequipmentwasusedandtheabrasivechargeusedwasstandardsanddrivenbyairpressure.Theabrasionlossofspecimenwastakenasthepercentagelossinmassfortwoseparateimpressionsonthesamefaceofthecubeundertest.

　　(I)MOCcementisanearlysetting,highstrengthcementandcanbindhighproportionsofaggregatesandfillers.

　　(II)MOCcementconcretecompositionshavegoodrheologicalpropertieswithexcellentworkabilityandplacingcharacteristics.Aftersetting,itdoesnotrequirewater

　　curing.

　　(III)MOCcementconcretehashighcompressivestrengthassociatedwithhighflexuralstrength.ThispropertycanobviatetheneedoffibrereinforcementinMOCconcrete,andpermitsreductioninslabthicknessofconcretepavement.
