　　before,在什么之前,是一件事情发生的时间,当然用过去时

　　过去完成时是强调一件事情对某一时刻的影响,这里不是这个意思.

　　还可以这样理

　　“什么什么before...”要这么翻译：“什么什么,然后...”,后面要说的是过去发生的事情,自然是过去时了.
