　　“Wewillseeaboutthat,”saidthesun.“Iwillletyoutryfirst.”

　　Sothewindtriedtomakethemantakeoffhiscloak.Heblewandblew,butthemanonlypulledhiscloakmorecloselyaroundhimself.

　　“Igiveup,”saidthewindatlast.“Icannotgethiscloakoff.”Thenthesuntried.Heshoneashardashecould.Themansoonbecamehotandtookoffhiscloak.

　　(有一天风跟太阳说:“看看那个沿着路上走的人.我可以比你快让他把披风脱下来.)

　　2.翅膀

　　一天,我工作的炸鸡店在关门前出现了一阵抢购狂潮,结果除了鸡翅外所有的东西都卖完了.当我正准备锁门时,一名喝醉了的旅客进来要进餐.我问他翅膀行不行,他从柜台上靠过身子来,回答道：“女士,我到这儿来是吃东西的,不是要飞!”

　　3.有个小男孩头戴球帽,手拿球棒和棒球,全副武装地到自家后院.

　　“我是世界上最伟大的打击手,”他自信满满.把球往空中一扔,用力挥棒,但却没有打中.

　　他毫不气馁,又往空中一扔,大喊一声：“我是最厉害的打击手.”

　　他再次挥棒,可惜又落空了.

　　他楞了半晌,仔仔细细地将球棒和棒球检查了一番.

　　他站了起来,又试了一次,这次他仍告诉自己：“我是最杰出的打击手.”

　　然而他第三次尝试又落空.

　　“哇!”他突然跳了起来,“原来我是第一流的投手!”
