　　这个句子其实是 He is (so) rich that he has few wants 中略去了副词so. 【句型 so ... that 中的 so 常被省略】.另如：

　　You put it (so) far that I can't see it better. 你把它放得那么远（以至于）我看不大清楚.

　　He was (so) saddened that she felt so little for him. 他很悲伤（以至于）她小看他.
