　　WhatMakesHappyPeopleHappy?

　　Youmightthinkthathappypeoplehavelotsofmoney,arephysicallyattractive,havegreatjobs,orownthelatestgadgets.Or,youmightjustthinkhappypeopleareplainlucky,andarebornthatway.

　　Researchsuggests,however,thatthereareanumberofvariablesthatmakeafargreatercontributiontohappinessthanexternalandmoresuperficialfactors.

　　Thatdoesn'tmeanthatifyouhavealotofmoneyyouwon'tbehappy,orthathavingalotofmoneyisbad,itjustmeansthatotherfactorsaremoreimportantindetermininghappiness.Infact,astrongpositiverelationshipbetweenjobstatus/income/wealthandhappinessonlyexistsforthosewholivebelowthepovertylineand/orwhoareunemployed.
