　　一天,一只小猴子正在井边玩儿.它往井里一瞧,大声喊道：“噢!天呐!月亮掉到井里啦!”

　　Anoldermonkeyrunsover,takesalookandsays,“Goodnessme!Themoonisreallyinthewater!”

　　一只大猴子跑来一看,说：“糟了!月亮真地掉在井里啦!”

　　Andelderlymonkeycomesover.Heisverysurprisedaswellandcriesout,“Themoonisinthewell.”

　　老猴子也跑过来.他也非常惊奇,大声喊道：“糟了,月亮掉在井里了!”

　　Agroupofmonkeysrunovertothewell.Theylookatthemooninthewellandshout,“Themoon2didfallintothewell!Comeon!Let’sgetitout!”

　　一群猴子跑到井边,他们看着井里的月亮喊道：“月亮的确是掉进井里啦!快点儿!我们把它捞出来吧!”

　　Then,theoldestmonkeyhangsonthetree3upsidedown,withhisfeetonthebranch.Andhepullsthenextmonkey’sfeetwithhishands.Alltheothermonkeysfollowhissuit,andtheyjoineachotheronebyonedowntothemooninthewell.

　　然后,老猴子倒挂在大树上,拉住另一只猴子的脚,其它的猴子都仿照他们样子,一只连着一只直到井里.

　　Justbeforetheyreachthemoon,theoldestmonkeyraiseshisheadand4happenstoseethemooninthesky,heyellsexcitedly,“Don’tbesofoolish!Themoonisstillinthesky!”

　　就在他们要捞到月亮时,老猴子一抬头碰巧发现月亮挂在天上.它兴奋地大叫：“别这么傻了!月亮还好好地挂在天上呢!”
