　　Upongraduation,studentsoftheElectricalEngineeringTechnology–ProcessAutomationprogramcanapproachindustrialelectricalandelectronicsystemsfromtheviewpointofanalysis,technicalevaluation,design,anddevelopment.Thesix-semesterprogramconcentratesonthein-depthstudyofelectricalandelectronicprinciplesastheyapplytoautomatedsystemsusingprogrammablelogiccontrollers.Theprogramisgearedtoprovidingyouwithasoundbasisforemploymentattheadvancedlevelthatmayleadtoacareerinasupervisoryposition.`Thru-way`programsofferdiplomasatthecompletionofYear2andhaveanadditionalyearofstudywhenthereissufficientenrolment.

　　TechnicianandtechnologygraduateswhohavehadtwoyearsofacceptableworkexperienceareeligibleforcertificationbytheOntarioAssociationofCertifiedEngineeringTechniciansandTechnologists(OACETT).
