MARTY'S STORY
I am Marty Fielding, who has a muscle disease which makes me very weak.(56)___ (fortune),the doctors don't know how to make me better, but I have learned to adapt to my disability.
I used to climb trees, swim and so on.Then I started to get weaker and weaker.Sometimes some children in my primary school would laugh at me.Every time I returned after an absence when I was too weak to go to school,I felt stupid (57)___ I was behind the others.
My life is easier at high school as my fellow students have accepted me.The few (58)___ cannot see the real person inside my body do not make me 59.___(annoy),and I just ignore them.My ambition is (60)___ (work) for a firm which develops computer software in the future. My life is busy, having no time to sit around (61)___(feel) sorry for myself.
In many ways my (62)___(disable) has helped me grow stronger (63)___ (psychology) and become more independent. If I had a chance to say one thing to healthy children,it would be this:having a disability does not mean your life is not (64)___(satisfy),so don't feel sorry for the disabled or make fun of them, and don't ignore them either.Just accept them for who they are,and give them (65)___(encourage) to live as rich and full a life as you do.
