　　livedinthenorthwesternpartofChinaatthattime.Sincethetroops

　　),GeneralHuoandhissoldierswereexhaustedwhentheyarrivedatthe

　　footofGaolanMountain.Theycouldn'tfindanywaternearby,so

　　GeneralHuoforcefullyjabbedhishorsewhipfivetimesintotheground.

　　Abruptlyfivespringsspurtedwaterintotheair.Thereafterthelocals

　　calledthemountainthewuquanMountain.Whilethisstorysounds

　　surreal,thequalityandthequantityofthefivespringsaretrue.They

　　haveflowedandservedthelocalsforseveralthousandyears.In1955,

　　itwasofficiallyopenedasapark.Localauthoritiesaddedazoo,an
