　　ThefirstpartisabouttheancientBritain.TheoriginoftheEnglishhistoryisacknowledgedknownastheromaninvasionof55BC.ItwasunderthechargeofJuliusCaesarwhenthefirstromaninvasiontookplace,andinAD43,awell-plannedandmuchlargerinvasioncameagain.EnglandwasinfluencedbytheromansostronglythatevennowadaysyoucanfeelthatdeeplyinEngland.Afternearly400years,theRomanEmpirewastiredtomanagetheissueofEnglandbecauseofthedifficultiesclosertotheircountry.ButthelocalpeoplewerenotstrongenoughtoprotectthemselvesatthattimeandwereconqueredbyantherinvasionfromNorthwesternEurope,includingangles,Saxonsandjutes.ItwasthisinvasionestablishedthelanguagewhichnowisknownasOldEnglish.Afterhundredsyearslater,thekingofWessex,Alfredthegreat,unifiedandstabilizedthecountrywithhissuccessors.
