　　1、Somepeoplethinkwhenwereadweshouldreadselectively.Thatistosay,weshouldselectsomebooksweareinterestedinandignoretheothers.Readingselectivelycanhelpusconcentrateourlimitedtimeandattentiononthoseselectedbooks.

　　Othersthinkweshouldreadextensively.Nomatterwhatkindofbookitis,weshouldlookitover.Weshouldreadvariouskindsofbooks,whetherweareinterestedinthemornot.Theymaintainthatreadingextensivelycanhelptoenlargeourviewandgraspthegeneralknowledgeindifferentfields.

　　Inmyopinion,thetworeadingwayshavetheirrolesrespectivelyinourreading.However,thedisadvantagesofeachmethodsareeasytosee.Ifweonlyreadthebooksweselectorprefer,theframeworkofourknowledgemaynotbecomplete.Ourknowledgewouldberatherlimited.Andifwereadwithoutselection,wemaynothavesomuchtimeandenergytobespecializedinoneparticularfield.Therefore,thecombinationofthetwomethodsismorereasonable.
