neither,either

　　Neither的意思是“两个都不”（noteither）；either的意思是“两个中的任何一个”（oneoftwo）或“两个中的各一个”（eachoftwo）.

　　Neither常和nor用在一起；either常与or用在一起.

　　下面先看两个neither的例句：

　　NeitherMr．LinorMr．ZhangisinHongKongnow．

　　李先生和张先生现在都不在香港.

　　Ilikeneitherofthenovels．

　　这两本小说我都不喜欢.

　　在口语里,我们常用noteither代替neither.如上面第二个句子,在口语中可以说：Idon'tlikeeitherofthenovels．

　　下面是either的例句：

　　不是李先生就是张先生现在在香港.

　　在美国英语中,当either表示both和each的涵义时,它的动词用复数形式.例：
